The redesigned Strand Nine at Rosapenna Hotel and Golf Resort, Co. Donegal, Ireland

Rosapenna has been drawing golfers and resort guests to the furthest reaches of County Donegal since 1893, featuring an original links laid out by Old Tom Morris, with Braid and Vardon adding their touches after the turn of the century.  Of Old Tom's original work, nine holes remain untouched, and it was our task to rework a new, adjacent nine holes to feel more like those of Old Tom's hand.  The resulting Strand Nine offers a nice alternative pairing to Old Tom's Valley Nine, a wonderfully playable collection of holes on some of the best links ground on the property.
