Ten years after it opened, our highly acclaimed public course north of Baltimore closed to make way for new residential development. Its economic trajectory closely mirrored the trend of high-end metropolitan daily fee courses built in the 1990's, but the parkland-style design had been ranked among the top public courses in the nation, and we are not the only ones sorry to see it go.
