For Tom, this was a cherished opportunity to return to Scotland to build a course.  For the rest of the firm, it was a chance to have the same life experience Tom did upon graduating from Cornell - to live and work among the storied links of Muirfield and North Berwick.  Our calling here was simple:  to build a course the Scots would respect, in harmony with its surroundings and inspired by - but different than - its famous neighbors.
